Cease reasons can be entered when an asset is ceased.
The list of cease reasons can be configured from Settings - Cease Reasons.
Setting a default cease reason for renewed assets
Users with the New & Cease action enabled may wish to set a default Cease Reason for assets that have been ceased at the point of renewal.
From Settings - Cease Reasons, you can edit one cease reason with the pencil icon, and check the box in the Is New & Cease Reason field.
Only one entry may have this enabled - checking this box will remove the check from any other reason.
When any asset is renewed with a New and Cease Data Capture action, this cease reason will be used automatically.
