Custom fields in Data Capture

It's possible to enable custom fields within Data Capture, allowing custom field data to be stored against individual quotation items.

Lines with a unit quantity of more than one will allow different values to be stored against each one, if need be.

This has benefits related to EECC regulation - for example, your pre-contract information documents may refer to expected broadband speeds. To make this easier, you could store the expected speed alongside each quotation item.

You could then use snippets to automatically pull the data from Data Capture into the pre-contract information documents.

This is just one example. Custom fields can be used to represent anything that is not represented by standard fields.
