The Sage 200 integration involves syncing customer records, as well as existing customer contacts.

The syncronisation works automaticaly from The Layer to Sage 200 for customer records and contacts, however not the other way around. This means that customer records and contacts added to Sage 200 will not be automatically created on The Layer.

Customer Sync

Customer syncs with the Sage 200 on the first sales order creation, irrelevant of the status.

The following details will sync with Sage 200:

  • Company Name

  • Email

  • Website

  • Telephone

  • Fax

  • VAT Number

These will update in Sage when the customer record is created and when a customer sync is performed thereafter.

Contact Sync

All customer contacts will sync with Sage 200 on first customer creation.

The following details will sync with Sage 200:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email

  • Telephone

These will sync to sage when the initial customer sync happens - either on sales order creation or manual sync. Any amendments made will carry over when the customer record is resynced.

Please note, any additional contacts created in The Layer thereafter will not sync at this time. Please create these manually in Sage, if they are required there.
