Core work stacks can be removed from your Favourite Stacks view. However, they are not actually deleted, and can be restored.

First you will need to select the module to which the work stack belongs. In our example we are going to restore the work stack for Products in Stock, which is detailed in our stock module.

Core stacks that have been deleted can be restored from the Hidden Stacks tab.

This tab lists core stacks that have been deleted / hidden.

Click on the X icon to remove the widget from the list, thereby restoring it.

Return to the Favourite Stacks tab and refresh your screen to see the restored stack.
