Serial numbers and IMEIs can be stored in several places in The Layer:
Sales Order Data Capture
Stock
Assets
Incoming delivery movement sessions
There is a function that allows you to search based on these fields, so that you may find a specific item.
This may be helpful in a number of scenarios, such as checking a warranty, stock tracking and fraud prevention.
Accessing the Search
For both serial and IMEI searches, click the menu icon next to the global Search box, and select IMEI Search.
Enter your number when prompted.
You'll be shown any matching results.
