The Layer can help you stay on top of upcoming renewals in a few different ways.

Customer record - Assets tab

The assets tab of a customer record details assets by product category - expiry date, days to expiry and equivalent months are shown.

Work stacks

Work stacks (also known as browsing sessions) can be configured to pull together and highlight upcoming expiries, ordered and filtered in a way that suits you. Headers that can be filtered on include:

  • Expiry Date

  • Service Name

  • Customer

  • Expiry %

  • Base Category e.g. Mobile, Fixed line, Data etc.

  • Term

  • Supplier

You may have a suitable work stack already configured for you.

If not, new work stacks can be created. For example:

Past renewals

Future renewals

These are just some typical examples of how users can best use this work stack template to ensure no opportunities are missed as a result of an asset renewal date.

Once you have created a work stack using the service asset template you will be able to create opportunities based on your service asset expiry dates.

We also recommend that you create a work stack based on service assets without an opportunity attached to them so that you may ensure all assets are attached to an opportunity.

All Service Assets report

Users with access to this report will be able to obtain a list of all service assets in The Layer. You may wish to filter by customer.

Speak to your administrator if you think you should have access to this report.
