Service assets have optional fields in which Additional MSISDNs, DDIs, or equivalent identifiers, can be stored.
It's possible to auto-populate these values at sales order stage, before the asset is created, as long as the additional numbers are sequential.
Configuration
To do this, the DDR Range Start and DDI Range End fields must be enabled for each relevant base category.
This is done from Settings - Manage Categories. Both boxes should be checked.
As with any field, you can change the name by populating the right-most column.
Entering values
When populating Data Capture, the two range fields will be visible.
Here you can enter the start and end of the range.
Please note:
The maximum number of additional IDs per asset is 501.
If more are required, you should increase the sales order line quantity to split the additional values.
The Range End must be higher than the Range Start.
This will be validated when either number is changed.
If you are amending values previously entered, please keep this in mind. It may be easier to delete the contents of both cells and entering the values anew.
Only numerical values should be populated.
Leading zeroes are permitted and will be retained.
The Connection Date and Expiry Date will be copied to the additional ID lines as Start and Stop date.
Viewing results
After converison to asset, you can see the results from the asset record.
Click on Show More to see all additional IDs.
